His three favorite books are "Cell" by @stephenking, "Welcome to Nightmare Island" by @devincabrera94, and "Beta: A Technological Nightmare" by @scribesammyscott.

Emily's favorite indie read of 2024 was also "Beta" by Sammy Scott.

I love the fact that she's into "Cell" by Stephen King. Most of the time when we cite a King book, it's one of the usual suspects -- "The Shining," "Pet Semetery," "It," you know the drill. Seeing some latter day King get some love is pretty kickass...he's still a force to be reckoned with.
